'Non-skiers & après-ski'
Although a traditional alpine village
with a delightful Savoyard atmosphere, Morzine operates as a
'state of the art' winter sports resort, welcoming visitors with
a superb range of après-ski and facilities for the non-skier.
As well as restaurants, nightclubs, bars, internet cafés,
cinemas, shops and the local market, there are snow-shoe walks,
snow scooters, ice skating and national premier league ice hockey
matches, tobogganing, paragliding, husky and horse-drawn sleigh
rides, floodlit skiing, ice-diving, hot air ballooning, adventure
parks, masseurs, guided walks around the old village and local
cheese-making and slate-mining demonstrations.
